You’re going to love this… – Day 33

Today was our rest day in Pueblo, CO and we have thoroughly enjoyed the day off.  We slept late, walked around downtown, ran a few errands, strolled through an art gallery crawl, and topped it off with dinner by the river.  It has been everything we wanted it to be.

Now to the good stuff!  I am really excited to announce another new feature to the website that I think everyone will enjoy.  It is called “Track My Tour”.  It is another map, however this one is interactive showing a trail of where we have been and pictures of stops along the way.  Unfortunately the pictures don’t start until halfway through Kansas but I think for the duration of the journey you will be very pleased.

I had originally looked at this program before leaving North Carolina but the reviews were poor.  However they did some updating and I talked with a guy on the road who was using it and loved it.  I apologize that it has taken us a few days to get caught up on the mapping through the eastern side of the country.

You can access the link under the “Track Us” section to the right as well as the previous current location map.  You can also click here.  To view each stop just click on the point on the map.  Here is a sample of what you will see.  Enjoy!

We also wanted to mention that if anyone is interested in buying a Team Wooha bike jersey, or a full kit you need to place your order by July 5th!  You can access the jersey store through the Merch page of the website.

Great feature. I’m a real map lover, and any chance to look at a map is welcome. Looking forward to seeing where you go next. I think I know, and I’m really envious.

You guys are doing great. I am off to Ethiopia today and will be sharing your story with the well drilling team. We really appreciate your partnership with Water is Life and all that good that you are doing by biking across America.
    All the best,
    David Harding

I just read this in Martha Stewart Living – hopefully it’s helpful 🙂

“To keep cool when exercising outdoors this summer, freshen your breath with a mint mouth spray or breath strip. In a small study in the European Journal of Applied Physiology, cyclists were able to pedal longer in the heat when they rinsed their mouth with a menthol solution, such as mouthwash. The mint extract stimulates cold receptors in the mouth, so you feel cooler when inhaling, researchers say.”

Can’t wait ’til the pictures of the Rockies. They are GORGEOUS. I want to take Erik there someday!
